　　和其他缅怀故人的纪录片不同，这部电影并没有把基调定得过于沉重，而是穿插了许多比尔·希克斯的卡通造型和动画片段，给影片增加了不少幽默色彩，也更加符合比尔·希克斯“喜剧大师”的身份。

　　影片由英国导演马特·哈洛克和保罗·托马斯合作，花了3年时间拍摄完成，获得美国达拉斯国际电影节德克萨斯纪录人奖。
