杰克身负重任来到了洛山矶，在这里和他拍档的是经验老到的警探金（基伦?埃弗瑞?韦恩斯 Keenen Ivory Wayans 饰）。两人因作风和手法的不一致而产生了许多矛盾，但为了尽早完成认为，两人都只能忍气吞声迁就对方。杰克和金共同布下了天罗地网，不料却被狡猾的凶手逃脱了。与此同时，新的受害者竟然是杰克的前妻和她丈夫，而现场证据竟然显示杰克就是凶手！
